Mango Moon's multi-color silk yarn is made from recycled silk saris, the traditional garment of East Asian women. Unlike other recycled yarn blends, our yarn is soft, lightweight and never coarse, because it contains no synthetic materials.

Mango Moon supports the Nepali Woman Empowerment Group (NWEG, NGO) helping women who have been rescued from abusive situations.

Recycled Silk really comes in only ONE COLOR. Since no two skeins are alike -- there are NO dyelots. These variations make this yarn unique. If you order more than one skein, we will "hand-pick" your order for intensity and color consistenty. Just one skein remaining.
